Günter Burg received his training in medicine and dermatology in Germany and was appointed professor and chairman of the departments of Dermatology of the University in Würzburg/Germany 1988-1991 and in Zürich 1991-2006.

Colette C. Camenisch studied medicine on the University Hospital in Zürich (Switzerland). In 2003 has she been working in India, Andrha Pradesh, with Prof. Shrinivas Gosla in the Craniofacial Department with the special training in “Cleft Lips and Palate”.
